The plot

A Killer Ride Home

A dark night in London, circa 1991 and there’s a serial killer on the loose. Two men go about their business oblivious to the dangers at large when fate brings them together in a black cab.

This seemingly random encounter sparks an escalating feud that leads to a brutal and devastating finale as our loyalties plunge first one way and then the other.

Production

A multi-award-winning film set in North London in the early 1990s our late-night tale features Ray, a taxi driver from Holloway and his fare, James, a barrister from Barnsbury. We realise that one of these men could well be a serial killer - but which one?

As their journey unfolds we begin to fear for Ray as it appears he doesn’t realise the danger he’s putting himself in by antagonising his bad-tempered passenger. But where will the ride end and who will pay the ultimate price for taking a wrong turn? If you know the answer then you too have The Knowledge.

Written and Directed by Alexander Osman, The Knowledge was inspired by a scene in the novel, ‘Manor House to Gibson Square’ written by Executive Producer Danny Kellard.
