The plot

In the aftermath of his father’s funeral and the end of his relationship with Luke following a betrayal, Andrew’s grief is raw. The return to the family home brings into sharp focus everything that he has lost.The unexpected appearance of Luke initially feels like an act of unkindness, an abuse of power at a time when Andrew is ultimately vulnerable. Luke's faults and transgression are clear in Andrew’s mind. But what does it take to rewrite the narrative we write for ourselves? And how powerful is it when that narrative is reshaped by a family member who is no longer with us?
